IQRA’ International Educational Foundation has been a pioneer in Islamic education since its founding. Our vision was to provide high-quality, engaging resources that blend traditional Islamic teachings with modern educational methods. Since 1983, we have developed a comprehensive array of materials—curriculum guides, syllabi, textbooks, workbooks, and teacher’s resources—all aimed at nurturing pride in Islamic identity and fostering a deeper understanding of Islam.

Our Story

In 1968, while at Harvard University, the Ghazis faced a challenge: How could they provide their children with an Islamic education that went beyond memorization? Determined to make America their home, they sought a way to nurture their children’s fitrah, positively impacting their lives and those around them.

With their educational background, the Ghazis developed a curriculum combining traditional madrasah teachings with modern educational methods. This vision led to the founding of IQRA’ International Educational Foundation in 1983, where their efforts came to life in the form of the Program of Islamic Studies, which continues to grow today.

At IQRA’, our mission is to provide exceptional Islamic education that nourishes children's fitrah, cultivates pride in their Islamic identity, and fosters a deeper understanding of Islam.
